Maku ga Agaru (幕が上がる, The Curtain Rises) is a youth drama film directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro and featuring the members of Momoiro Clover Z, based on the debut novel of playwright Oriza Hirata. The film was released on February 28, 2015. Blu-Ray, Deluxe Edition Blu-Ray, DVD, and a documentary on the making of the film were all released in Japanese on August 5, 2015. Maku ga Agaru is the first feature film role for all five of Momoiro Clover Z members.

Plot[]
The story begin in the poor theater club at a prefectural city. A High school girl and the club president Saori lives out in a small city in the country. She adores plays and is in the theatrical club with fellow club members Yukko with princess personality, Garuru the moodmaker, the level headed Akemi-chan and the transfer student Nakanishi. The club adviser, Mizoguchi-sensei, actually know nothing about theater.
Their world has turned when they meet the new teacher, Yoshioka-sensei, a graduate from a college in Tokyo who also loves plays and known as "The Queen of Student Theater". Saori, together with the play club, decide to compete in a theater competition for the local area but Yoshioka tells them to aim higher and go for the national competition with the play "Night on the Galactic Railroad".
