overture is an instrumental introduction and the opening song in the start of Momoiro Clover Z's live stage performances and talk events. The full name of the song is Overture: Momoiro Clover Z Sanjou!! (overture「ももいろクローバーZ参上!!」). The song is written and composed by Kenichi Maeyamada.[1]

The song open their live concerts and performances and featured in their setlist as the first song to build the hype for the audiences.
According to the composer and songwritter Kenichi Maeyamada, the song is created based on a certain idol group's Overture song and the Professional Wrestler Shinya Hashimoto's entrance song. The song is originally created for their entrance song in FieLDS K-1 WORLD GP 2010 FINAL half-time show performance on December 11, 2010.[1] The announcing and singing part is also done by Maeyamada himself.
The instrumental parts of the song mix their song that were written by Maeyamada namely Ikuze! Kaitou Shoujo, Koko Natsu, Z Densetsu ~Owarinaki Kakumei~ and Wani to Shampoo. There exist the short version of the song which is around one minute length to preserve their performance when they're act as guest star or in a talk show.
