Team Daioh Ika (チーム大王イカ) was a limited idol girl group represented by Stardust Promotion under Section 3's 3Bjunior. The group was disbanded in 3Bjunior Live FINAL: Ore no Fujii on January 4, 2014.

History[]

Team Daioh Ika was announced by 3Bjunior's president Ryuji Fujishita in his twitter on October 1, 2013. The seven members were unveiled on October 8, 2013.[1]. The group debuted in AKIBA Culture Gekijou event along with KAGAJO 4S live concert on November 4, 2013.

The group was announced to participate in 3Bjunior's only single Nanairo no Stardust along with the rest of 3Bjunior idol group. The group also got recording parts in Sutada 3Bjunior Last Daizenshu album in the song One Love and Sanbu JAPAN Ouen Uta.

The group and KAGAJO 4S announced their disbandment on December 28, 2013 live concert and officially disbanded in 3Bjunior Live FINAL: Ore no Fujii on January 4, 2014. Kaho Kobayashi and Riko Nakayama were announced to be transferred into Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku.

Trivia[]

  • The group's name literally means Team Great Squid, this follows aquatic animal theme in 3Bjunior's group after Ebichu (shrimp) and Syachihoko (killer whale).
