Yuichi Fujii (藤井ユーイチ) is a talent manager from Stardust Promotion Entertainment Section 3. He takes charge of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku.[2] He is best known as the "Subculture Principal",[2] or just "Principal" (校長, Kouchou)[2][3] of Ebichu.

Biography[]

Fujii entered Stardust Promotion in January 2007 in the sales department of Stardust Entertainment Section 3.[2][3] He was involved in the production of Momoiro Clover in 2008 and was one of their managers.[4][5]

In February 2010, he was appointed by Ryoji Fujishita as the manager of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, to replace their first manager Eri Sato. He is nicknamed "principal" since the staff in Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku is referred in a way they are school staff.[2] His role in Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku as manager is more a field supervisor rather than a producer.[2]

On May 16, 2014, the key figures of Stardust Promotion Entertainment Section 3's 3Bjunior held a meeting to determine the future of the groups. Stardust Promotion Entertainment Section 3 managing director Ryoji Fujishita, Momoiro Clover Z manager Akira Kawakami, Team Syachihoko manager Minehiko Hasegawa and Fujii decided to hold a "Stardust Idol Summit".[6] The live concert's title, 3Bjunior LIVE FINAL: Ore no Fujii 2014, is taken from his name, as a pun to annual rock live concert Fuji Rock and a chain restaurant Ore no French.[6]

On January 8, he announced the formation of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku's Research Student unit Sakura Ebiez, a group of trainee members under the Ebichu banner.[7]

Trivia[]

  • Like the other key-persons in 3Bjunior, he is an avid pro wrestling fan.
